My Approach...

Partnering with clients, understanding their needs

The best way to get started is to get thoroughly acquainted with you/your company/your needs. That means asking questions, lots of questions. And making it a point to understand your goals. In short, I have to become a vital part of your marketing team.

Then I play around with ideas. Much as I love words, the concept is paramount. Crafting the concept into selling copy is the next step. I have worked with marketing directors and CEOs of major businesses and also one-on-one with owners of small businesses. I listen carefully and I value feedback.

I also like deadlines. They bring out the best in me. And I understand the importance of stretching the advertising dollar. I have been in this business for over 25 years. But I still retain the curiosity, the enthusiasm and the excitement that characterizes a good writer and communicator.
